Just stuff...no pictures

I've fallen behind in my updates. So sorry to those of you who care.
Seager the Parrot
Seager obviously made a New Year Resolution to learn to speak the English language as quickly as possible! It seemed overnight, but one day early in the month he just started repeating everything anybody said. He has not slowed down one bit and it has been such fun. He has mastered the words "uh-oh", pizza, and especially "no"! "No" is used to answer any question, whether the answer should be yes or not. Pizza is always followed by an enthusiastic "mmmm". And yes he loves to eat pizza and would everyday if it was made available. Mommy and Daddy, unfortunately, have learned the hard way not to say certain things. Of course, any undesirable word is exactly the one that he can pronouce perfectly, with the exception of "stupid"...he hasn't quite got that one right yet. He also spends a good bit of time singing. He's currently working on the ABC song. He has the melody and timing right, the letters are a little harder but he's getting there. He loves "If Your Happy and You Know It" but only repeats the word "happy" over and over to the tune. It's hard to be down with someone singing "Happy Happy Happy" for hours at the time. Who needs self-help tapes? Maybe I'll tape him and sell the CD and make a million! HA!
The Newest Maxwell
As for our other offspring...We are officially in countdown mode...18 days or less to go. I will try to birth this baby normally, but the doctors have required a deadline date for when I can get that feat accomplished. That date is February 22nd. So, if I'm not in labor on my own before that date...off for a C-section I go. I wanted to give it an additional week, but the doctor would not budge on going past my due date. You know, the CYA factor. These doctors think that they are the almighty God and that they always know best. What a load of crap. The United States has a c-section rate of 29% and they brag about how much safer it is that a normal delivery. Well if that is so, why is the United States ranked 26th in the world in infant mortality? 26 other countries have much better success with births because most use midwives for births and don't treat pregnant women as if they are sick and order up surgery to get it done quicker and have more control over the situation. Anyway, enough of that. This baby will come one way or the other! Tune in late next week and I'll post the pregnancy pictures I'm having made. That should be good for a laugh for you all!!!!! Til next week, see ya!
