Beach Turkeys

The 3rd Annual Maxwell "Thanksgiving at the Beach" was the best one yet. Beautiful weather in the 70's...Six Adults...Seven Kids (Six at or under Six)...Two Turkeys (the eatin' kind)...All the fixins (thanks for cooking Grandmommy and Amy)...Several bottles of wine...and a beautiful day to enjoy it! What a wonderful way to enjoy the feast with your family!

I was playing photographer for the weekend. I took over 200 pictures of all the cousins. If anyone wants to see some I have them uploaded on the web. Just drop me an email and I'll send you the link. Here are a few. And yes, I got the Christmas Card picture (just barely). Those will go out snail mail sometime soon! There are no samples on this post...don't want to spoil the surprise!

Seager and Heather - cute, cute, cute!

Joe & John enjoy the beach and a beverage!

Grandmommy always insists on feeding the birds!

Dagon eats alot of sand!

A very rare shot of Mommy swimming with her little fishes!

Seager decides that he DOES NOT like a wet bathing suit, so he took it off and ran before anyone realized what was going on. I just happened to have the camera in my hand.

Joe enters the sunset swimsuit competition!

Grandmommy asked for a group shot of all the kiddes. I warned her that this was not going to be an easy task...that was an understatement. Everyone on the beach stopped what they were doing to watch this fiasco in action. Almost every picture looked something like this...

I did however get this one shot, it's not perfect but it was the best I could get!

Top row: Brandon, Heather, Joe & Seager

Bottom row: Charlie, Dagon & Christopher

At least everyone was in the picture, looking the same way, more or less, and not crying-making a face-sticking out his tongue-or running away (Seager)! I should get an award for living through the whole experience! They did great overall! Except Seager...he is still in his "I don't want another picture taken of me, ever!" Poor kid, he has no peace without a camera in his face. He must be the most photgraphed kid in the Southeast.

My sweet Dagon at sunset.

The Maxwell Men!
I hope you all had as much fun with your families as we did. I am so thankful that we are all happy and healthy and I wish the same for everyone reading this. Onward we go to Christmas...
Gobble Gobble!
