The Season of Brotherly Love

We knew this season's Christmas card was going to be a real challenge. Lucky for us, we had several beautiful days to get this feat accomplished. The original plan was both boys sitting on a sled on the beautiful white sand. Grandmommy, Uncle John and Aunt Amy made the effort to bring the sled all the way to Florida and the plan was set into motion. Of course, that was just a dream. These two wouldn't sit still for not one shot....

Onto Plan B. Maybe I'll just catch them interacting together - no posing... nope no good, can't see those sweet faces...

Onto Plan C. How about using a chair for one? Yeah, that will work...

Hey distract them with those giant candy canes...

Just a plain store-bought generic card with no picture whatsoever is looking good about now!

Okay, Mommy is not a complete idiot, guess what she stuck in her pocket to use as a last resort? The one thing that will get Seager's attention...yep Candy - specifically - a sucker! Ha! Mommy is a genius, or desperate (however you choose to look at it.)

Dagon..."What you got there, Seager?"

Dagon..."Is that what I think it is...come on, let me see!"

Dagon..."Can I taste it? Just one little lick!"

Dagon..."Slurp, suck, smack!"

Mommy thinks she got at lease one shot that will work, no more pictures!

The Boys (big and little) celebrate!

So, I hope you all enjoyed your Christmas Card. I think I'll just send you all a Santa Pez Dispenser next year, it would be so much easier!

No way, I love a challenge!

Next challenge? Get them both on Santa's lap...stay tuned.
