Halloween has come and gone....no...wait...something still lurks...it's the candy. Seager's brain has been taken over. He wakes up talking about it, he talks about it all day, and it's the last thing he thinks about before drifting off to sleep...

"I want some candy!"
"I need some candy!"
"I need some candy, pleeeezzzzze?
"How bout a sucker?"
"I'll just eat a sucker now!"
"NO DINNER, I want a sucker!"
"Mommy, gimme some candy!"
"Daddy, (sob) Mommy said NO (sob)!"
etc. etc. etc.
Suckers are the candy of choice. Everthing in the house is now sticky. The only good part is...Seager doesn't like the tootsie roll center and Mommy gets the slobbery end to each one.
When I was a kid, I never understood those kids who trick-or-treated for UNICEF. Obviously, their parents knew what was coming and made changes accordingly. And we thought they were just unselfish souls doing good for charity. Yeah right, just smart parents!
Any way, there was chocolate to be had and those pieces were promptly confiscated. Seager was also impressed with Pop Rocks (another throw back to my childhood!) He calls it the "funny candy"! I bought a whole bag on clearance. I like the "funny candy" too!
Didn't get any pictures Halloween night. Seager did not want to waste a single minute on picture taking. He was ready to go trick-or-treating. Mommy did make some cute video. Seager was very polite and said thank you to everyone, very loudly. He even impressed one man by complimenting him on his pumpkin carving. The man was excited that someone took the time to noice and comment. Dagon (Robin) looked on from Mommy's arms and seemed to have a good time just watching. All in all a very successful event!
A couple of days later we were off to Mamw's for some delayed trick-or-treating and a Fall photo session with Aunt Lori. Results are below.

This was the coveted shot. All the grandkids with Mamaw and Papoo. Seager still wasn't cooperating but we got a few. Now, gimme some candy! (wasn't that a Adam Sandler SNL skit?...anyone?)
