A Month of Milestones!

We have had an exciting July! I am just amazed every day at how fast the little Maxwell men are growing and learning. For those of you who have kids, I hope these milestones bring wonderful memories to mind. For those of you who do not have kids, these things may seem silly but they are such precious moments and are very important to us!

Seager goes pee pee on the potty!!!

It finally just clicked. One of Seager's favorite pasttimes is nudity. During one of his exhibitions, he just walked over to the potty, sat down, pee pee'd and announced very loudly that he had done it. We all did the potty dance and celebrated. He loves to do it now! He is having trouble when he is not naked, but we are moving in the right direction!

He also likes to go outside and "pee on the bushes"!

Not to be outdone, Dagon has pretty much mastered sitting up on his own. Unfortunately, he would rather be standing and doesn't practice. He is also getting up on all fours and rocking. I guess he is just ready to get moving so he can chase big brother! Soooooo, I put him in the "car"

He also was starting to get really mad when everyone was eating in front of him and not offering even a taste. So off we go to cereal land. These pictures are the actual first meal other than Mommy's Milk! Just look at the anticipation...

We later discovered he also like bananas and loves to steal a sip of juice from Seager's sippy cup and Seager is all too willing to give him a taste. He's been trying to feed him goldfish, potato chips and grapes since he arrived! What a sweet big brother!

We are now entering the "sharing" phase. It's a good start! Probably won't last long.

And the really big event...as I type this Mr. Seager is on his first solo trip to Mamaw's house. He was very excited to go and wanted no help with loading his suitcase. "I do it" he said.

I have also been upgraded to "Mom" instead of "Mommy". This came as a bit of a shock. I wasn't expecting that for a few more years but Seager does things on his own time table!

I'm sure his Aunt Katrina and Aunt Lori have several pictures from his mini vacation. I'll post his adventure soon. Dagon and Mommy will join him for some fun this weekend. Daddy has to work, again. But we'll get lots of Daddy time this Winter!

This is Mom signing off for now.
