Just a quick post to share the Easter picture from the Maxwell's and to try out my new way to post...Windows Live Writer. So far, so good. Since it is so much easier now to compose and add pics and videos, I hope to be posting more and about lots of different things that go through my head. But anyway, back to the holiday picture.
So guess who I found in the attic... our old friend from long ago. This guy was the mascot of a shindig Joe and I (BC) hosted called the Bunny Bash! Some of you might remember the old days when we had massive parties that lasted well into the night and produced lots of embarrassing fun-filled memories. Those were the good old days. Now we are all grown up,, sort of. I personally think we are doing a damn good job of faking it anyway! Back to the subject
So here we are on our way to various Eggstravaganzas around our neighborhood mostly at churches and consisting of egg hunts, jumping, massive amounts of candy and cheap plastics toys that the vacuum cleaner loves to eat. Both boys did well fighting through the masses and gathering their "5" eggs in their respective age appropriate hunt. Dagon seemed to grasp the "secret" and chose two of the larger eggs. These eggs had the ultimate package of Skittles inside instead of just a simple piece of hard candy or chocolate egg. Since Seager was the second to hunt, I gave him the head's up on the big eggs but I guess the excitement overrode the knowledge and he was unsuccessful in procuring the coveted Skittles. No worries, he's a negotiator and we all know who ended up the winner in that exchange. For our Easter dinner??? Hamburgers on the grill of course.
So that was our exciting Easter. We are now sailing the seven seas looking for Pirate Paraphernalia. Seager has a birthday coming up and has requested a Pirate Party, and we are going to Chuck E Cheese. I hear you laughing but I will have the last laugh. We are going on a Monday Morning and will have the place to ourselves (I hope). Seager has several little friends that will join us. Anyone who wants to play hookey from work./school/life can join us on the 31st. We'll be the ones not waiting in line, parked next to the building and playing every game as much as we damn well please.
