Just Horsin' Around

Isn't it amazing, wonderful and lucky to have friends for life. I am the recipient of such a friendship and couldn't be more happy. After high school everyone scatters, but the memories linger. Misty, one of my most cherished friends from way back when graciously invitied us to visit her and her family. Lucky for us they work and play in Paradise.

Misty and her husband Matt and family welcomed us to their beautiful farm to reconnect and get a look at some of the most beautiful creatures on earth. They breed, train, show and board straight Egyptian Arabian Horses. Now I'm no horse person but it doesn't take an expert to appreciate these beauties! We got to learn all about the breed, see them prance around and show off, and much to the excitement of the boys, feed them lots and lots of carrots. Aunt Lori, Brooklyn, Mamaw and Papoo also joined us. Brooklyn was especially thrilled since she is a horse person. Of couse Lori got many pictures and since I couldn't pick out just a few I though I would try something different. So below is a slideshow. This is something new for me, so any comments or suggestions are welcome. Let me know if you like it or if you would just like to stick to just a few pictures of my choosing.

You can take a visit to Paradise yourself. Visit their website...

Enjoy the show! And to Misty, Matt and all the staff...Thanks again for a wonderful day.

Just in case you were wondering what Seager and Dagon are holding at the end of the show....it's a toad...a big, fat, cute little toad. In the pictures it looks like it could be a number of things...
