Maxwell's Go WILD!

First things first...Would someone please explain to me how I became such a blubbering idiot over tragic things lately? Is it because I have become a Mommy or is it just old age settling in? Please give me feedback on that!
I am so saddened by the freak accident that claimed this man's life.
I am not usually impressed with any celebrity, but this guy really seemed to be the real thing. Most celebrities have less than desirable lifestyles, morals and don't get me started on their politics. This man genuinely cared for all animals, human and non-human, really loved his wife and was a great father (according to all). He will be missed. I can't even imagine the depth of grief that his wife and family are dealing with right now. I have never even met the man, and I am upset. I believe he completed his task for this life and has crossed over to care for all the animals who have crossed and are waiting on their loved ones.
So in honor of Steve Irwin, we'll start out with
Maxwells in the Wild
Joe recently made another trip to Costa Rica with his brother and two friends,

Ken, Joe, Steve and Andy having cervesa in CR

Joe captured this sloth climbing along the roadside.

Look out Mr. Sloth! That doesn't look like such a great place to climb. You may end up taking a permanent nap and hanging out with Steve Irwin on the other side!

Here is another friend spotted in a nearby river...

Uncle Steve gets into the action!

Feeding the monkeys on a river tour...

Back at home, Mommy and the boys headed to the wilds of Blairsville for our own adventures!

Seager looks for alligators in the river...none here!

He did find some geese to chat with

Dagon watched from the safety of his stroller and then went to sleep. I guess the excitement was underwhelming!

Later in the week we headed off to the pond for Seager's first fishing trip. Joshua (cousin) demonstated how it is done...
Not having any patience for fishing, Seager was much more excited about throwing rocks and sticks into the water. This did not help Joshua's luck at fishing!

We went swimming the next day. Dagon caught a fish! Then tried to eat it.

Going WILD at Grandmommy's

The family packed up and headed to Grandmommy's house for Labor Day.

Christopher (cousin) teaches Seager all about hunting for dragons!

Dagon, Christopher, Seager and Heather

Rub a Dub Float, three cousins in the boat!

Dagon and Seager enjoy Grandmommy's big tub!

We turned Grandmommy's house upside down and had a great visit.

The following are just photos that needed to be shared.

By the way... our little Dagon is crawling...everywhere! He loves to head straight for Mommy's plants and try to eat them. He is already pulling up on everything and wants to walk. He is ready to be mobile and chase his big brother around!

So long for now.

You really do a great job with your blog Angela. I am impressed. You should do some creative work for a living. You really have a nice touch. Great pictures of the kids. Photography seems to be a naural thing as well. I feel the same way as you do about Steve. He really brought a lot of people to nature. I will miss this guy. He was a huge kid fan too. What a tragedy.
It was nice to see you and the family. Sorry I was not around a little more. Maybe we will have a break before all of the action to make a Georgia trip. Tell Joe and the gand I said hello. See Ya
