Seager is full swing into the Christmas (not Holiday) spirit. He has mastered the word Santa and says it very distinctly and clearly. Santa is now ranked right up there with Elmo and Bob (Sponge and The Builder)! In addition to Santa, any snowmen, nutcrackers or anything festive is also "Santa". That seems to be the catch all name for anything Christmas.
Saturday was a beautiful day for a Christmas parade and we attended with excitement! It was your typical small town parade with sirens, marching elves, the abominable snowman and of course Santa with real live reindeer pulling his sleigh!
We decided an up close and personal visit with Santa was in order. We chose to avoid the mall lines and herds of sheep to see a "real" santa, not to mention the outrageously priced "package deal" on photos. So off to Wally World we went. Santa was there! Complete with fake beard, cheesy cardboard backdrop and Wally World Associate armed with a digital camera and photo printer...all for the discount price of FREE! Best of all...no line, no wait, we could take our time getting Seager used to the idea of sitting on a strange lap and buy toilet paper...all in one trip!
Seager thought Santa was cool...but only from the protective arms of "Da". He wasn't too sure about the lap thing. Santa got a high five, the "Associate" got the photo, Mom took a few more photos of Seager trying to escape and that was the end of our visit with Santa.

Better luck next year...and we'll be using both sides of the lap! Hopefully Seager will help his little brother instead of being scared of Santa!
PS - The Christmas cards are mailing out tomorrow! Check your mailbox in a few days!
til next time...
